Get up and running in under a minute. No configuration required.

Quick Start

1. Get the app

Purchase AI Done Now (one-time payment) and download the app from your whop.com account. Drag it to your Applications folder and open it.

2. Activate with your license key

Enter the license key from your purchase. Activation is instant, and the only thing ever transmitted from your Mac is the license key itself.

3. Start monitoring your tools

Click the AI Done Now icon in your menu bar and press Start next to the tools you use — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Gemini CLI. That's it. The app quietly watches for events and notifies you with a native macOS banner and sound.

What You Get Notified About

Claude Code

When Claude Code finishes a task, sends a notification, or needs permission for a tool call.

Cursor

When the Cursor agent finishes, wants to run a shell command, or wants to use an MCP tool.

Codex

When Codex completes an agent turn.

Gemini CLI

When Gemini CLI sends a notification event.

Done for the day or pairing live? Toggle monitoring off from the menu bar to pause notifications.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving notifications?

  • -Make sure the AI Done Now app is running and monitoring is started for your tool (check your menu bar).
  • -Check that macOS notifications are enabled for AI Done Now in System Settings > Notifications.
  • -Focus mode, Do Not Disturb, or screen sharing may be silencing notifications.
  • -Make sure you're on the latest version of your AI coding tools — old versions may not emit the events the app listens for.

Claude Code: notifications not working from root directory

Claude Code notifications only work when running from a project folder. Navigate to a specific project directory before starting Claude Code.

Can't see the app in the menu bar?

AI Done Now lives at the top of your Mac screen. If it's not visible, try closing a few other menu bar apps to make room for it.

Switching to a new Mac?

Each license is valid for a single device. Email puspalatha@hodolist.com and we'll reset your license for free.

Reinstalled macOS or lost the app?

Log in to whop.com with your purchase email to download the app again, then enter your license key. It reactivates instantly.

Uninstall

To completely remove AI Done Now:

  1. 1.Stop monitoring for all tools from the menu bar.
  2. 2.Quit the app and delete it from your Applications folder.
